Reunion of Giants, Lancaster Tour 2014 – Leon Evans

Mr. Evans began his aviation career through an Air Cadet scholarship at the St. Catharines Flying Club. He later graduated as an instructor, teaching Air Cadets from #23 Squadron. Mr. Evans joined Air Canada in 1973, spending the next 34 years flying 11 different types of jets. In 2014, he piloted the Canadian Lancaster Bomber to England, where he joined the Battle of Britain Memorial Lancaster Flight of the Royal Air Force for a 54-day, 60-event tour honoring the remaining veterans of Bomber Command. He will share stories and photos from that adventure.
