Memories of the Fenwick Fair

Carolyn Botari put together audio recordings from 1984 – 1985 of local residents who had attended the Fenwick Fair as children in the early 1900’s.  The pictures were of the crowded fairgrounds, the grandstand, people with their horse and buggies, all pictures of days gone by.  Along with the agricultural events and the judging there was horse racing, a magician and even a merry go round.  The popcorn, peanuts and taffy were always a big treat back in those days for young and old.  It was the event of the year for all to come together to show the fruits of their labour and visit with fellow citizens of Pelham.
